Curve wall mounted bed for your cat

If you are looking for a pet bed, then here is an interesting idea that looks good. With a slim profile and a choice of wood and fabric options, Curve seamlessly blends in with your décor. It can be mounted anywhere on the wall, allowing maximum flexibility. The curving shape and cushion provide your pet with comfort and security when sleeping and playing on it. Appropriate for cats and small dogs. Maximum capacity is 35 lbs. To be honest I’d love to see 3,4 or even 5 cats sleeping in beds like these. You can get one from here.

The Andromeda Lamp by Ross Lovegrove

Designed by British designer Ross Lovegrove for Yamagiwa, the Andromeda lamp is an artificial structure for capturing artificial light. The piece is moulded from a single material as a unified white botanical, aquatic organism to softly implant a sense of nature into the spaces we inhabit.

Here are a few words about Andromeda from the designer : “Emerging from the concept of Netification; the reduction of physical mass through selective perforation across a pre defined form; the concept floats more as a diatomic sea creature in the free ocean of space. It floats in a state of apparent anti gravity, capturing its light within to graphically delineate a structural net as a soft external shadow of itself. The light that is emitted from its LED clusters is reflected back into itself via mirrors orientated to maximise their output and to freely distribute a very pure light. It becomes the source of ambient light within a room, vesting gentle forms like large roots onto adjacent surfaces to form extended relationships onto and into architectural dimensions.”

Bergman’s “Special Editions” Bulbs

As if infected by a disease, designer Pieke Bergmans’ Light Bulbs slum and die away slowly as they add a warm, amorphous glow to the space in which it’s placed. Part of her aptly-titled project “Design Virus,” these bulbs spill like ooze from their power sources onto surfaces, clearly victims of a lighting pandemic. The bulbs themselves are glass-blown to fit certain surfaces and contain LED lights within. Although these lights might only work in very specific contexts, I could see a fantastic bathroom design where it appears that the bulbs have literally melted onto the shower and counter surfaces. Several of these lights, creatively placed, may be an interesting accent for an outdoor garden as well!
