The Daybed Chair by Manuelsaez

How many times have we computer geeks wished there was a specially crafted chair that really took care of our laptop needs rather than that put-together pillow? The Daybed was designed by Manuelsaez and seems to be the perfect recline for those spending days together on portable hardware. The chair has a comfortable seating posture, cushions to make it extra mushy and the perfect stand which holds your laptop with ease. Unlike other stuff that you throw together, it is ergonomic, encourages healthy sitting habits and is simply seating luxury for the techno-geeks. When this concept hits the stores, you can bet it will sell like hot cakes.

Planter Wall Tiles by Maruja Fuentes

Presented at Milan Furniture Fair 2009, Green Pockets is an innovative idea designed by Maruja Fuentes a designer from Puerto Rico. Green pockets are ceramic tiles which fuse nature with the interior space, improving both air quality and health. They attach to the wall to create the illusion as if they were actually growing from them. The tiles, made from recycled materials, serve as planters and their unique shape allows them to interlock, thereby creating different patterns depending on the vegetation planted. The pockets bring a soul-soothing dose of greenery and nature to an interior space, improving a room’s aesthetic and air quality.

Blofield is a company that offers furniture that is not just comfortable but are quite light in weight as well, because they are inflatable. I don’t expect that people will buy this “inflatable sofa” for their home, but when you go at a picnic this is awesome. They are portable, look good and and can be taken anywhere you go. These sofas are sold in three different sizes, one person, two and three, and in three colors: green, white and dark gray. Furthermore the price is included in the bag to store and transport and a small pump.

House of Vision by Kouichi Kimura in Shiga, Japan

In 2008 Japanese designer Kouichi Kimura created a specific property in the outskirts of Shiga, Japan. Located on foot hill area with fields surrounding the entire property, at a first glance the building looks odd, a bit minimalistic, and clean. But a deeper look and you can get a feel for the exceptionally emotional design intended to blend with nature. With a clean interior that exudes a pure ambient feel, the overall theme of the 181 sqm residence is a mixture of modernism as well as an unsurpassable natural ambient. Dubbed the “House of Vision” it’s the elegance of this enchanting project that got us sold in the first place.

Futuristic Kitchen Concept Design by Sebastien Poupeau

This awesome futuristic kitchen concept design was designed by Sebastien Poupeau. At a first glance this kitchen might look like an Apple product, clean design, sleek lines, and of course eye catching, but this beautiful design is a futuristic kitchen that offers “a food cutting area, a digital screen enabling the cooker to pilot the equipment, listen to music or access to the web to find recipes for instance — this ‘multi-screen’ is extended by a dining surface.” On both sides stand two units; one with induction hobs and an oven for cooking, preparing; the other with a sink and its drying rack fitted into and a dishwasher with two separated racks. The project also envelops an upper level for the hood and a heating area. A light made of optical fibre under the surface holds the glasses over the guests.

Round Modern Kitchen Countetops from Pedini

Pedini round kitchen countetops could become a new trend in kitchens design, because of super ergonomic technologies, a gorgeous minimal look and the round countertop that gives an impressive amount of possibilities. Isn’t that cool when you can reach your stove, shelves, fridge, cutting board and other stuff needed to cook without making a step? Finally I can say that the Pendini kitchens are so beautiful and stylish that you’ll want to spend more time in your kitchen than ever before.
