Stoned Box House in Sao Paolo, Brazil

An old existing one-story house in Sao Paolo, Brazil, have been redesigned by Alan Chu & Cristiano Kato. Dubbed the Box House, the small construction is nestled at 100m above sea level next to two enormous rocks. With a suspended box that acts as a bedroom and the street level with the living room, kitchen and bathroom, the boxed structure looks just like a can of sardines that floats on the martime channel nearby. Nicely lighted during the night, with lots of stone and wood, and classic furniture that charms in its own way, that’s one place where you can enjoy a peaceful weekend.
