OneLessOffice suite of products by Heckler Design

Heckler Design has rounded out their OneLessOffice suite of products. Now joining OneLessDesk, the beautifully minimal computer desk, is OneLessStand and OneLessFile. OneLessDesk is designed to be more flexible. Re-arrange and re-direct your work environment throughout the day. OneLessDesk is the beautiful, ergonomic, space-saving computer desk. At one time, you needed a desk that could fit a mountain of paper, two-foot-deep monitor, printer, and a CPU the size of a Labrador. Today, your computer is an inch thick. You have moved forward. It’s time your desk caught up. All the OneLessOffice pieces are designed to nest, fully loaded when not in use. Your entire home office now tucks away into a 40″ by 12″ space when not in use.

OneLessStand is a another great solution from Heckler Design collection for anyone needing a place for their printer, one-in-one. It has a hidden shelf, like OneLessDesk, for hiding a cable modem, wifi, networked hard drive, and all that mess. Want to get you Mac Pro off the ground? Use OneLessStand as a CPU stand. It’s built-in wire guides and rear-facing shelf tidy up all the mess you were hiding on the ground behind your desk.

Minimalism is great, but everyone has a few paper files to keep near by. OneLessFile may the world’s first attractive hanging file. It works with both letter and legal files and tucks neatly under OneLessStand.

Planter Wall Tiles by Maruja Fuentes

Presented at Milan Furniture Fair 2009, Green Pockets is an innovative idea designed by Maruja Fuentes a designer from Puerto Rico. Green pockets are ceramic tiles which fuse nature with the interior space, improving both air quality and health. They attach to the wall to create the illusion as if they were actually growing from them. The tiles, made from recycled materials, serve as planters and their unique shape allows them to interlock, thereby creating different patterns depending on the vegetation planted. The pockets bring a soul-soothing dose of greenery and nature to an interior space, improving a room’s aesthetic and air quality.
